Warren Averett is looking for an experienced Proofreader for our Birmingham office. The ideal candidate will have more than 4 years of administrative experience.


  • Prioritize a large volume of projects for multiple locations and departments
  • Demonstrate an extreme attention to detail regarding grammar, spelling and the formatting of documents
  • Work Overtime, as necessary
  • High customer service skills and an almost expert knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Assist with additional projects, as needed


  • Proofing experience with STRONG attention to detail
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and approach challenging situations with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency around critical priorities, but work calmly, independently and effectively under pressure
