Participants have the same opportunity to earn up to 8 hours of CPE by virtual presentations that will be hosted in segments of two-hour sessions over the course of four days. You can sign up for any or all the sessions based on your interest or CPE needs.

Accounting Implications of COVID-19
As organizations throughout the world continue to see the economic impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, individuals and organizations alike made use of government relief to help weather the storm. Relief options like the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC), Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) other relief programs made hundreds of billions of dollars available to impacted organizations. During this session, our experts will cover FAQs on the various relief programs, how to account for these relief funds in your financial statements and reporting, and review what’s coming in the future in terms of new legislation and accounting requirements. 

  • Learning ObjectiveAt the conclusion of this session, participants will have a better understanding of accounting for COVID-19 relief funds and the financial statement implications.

Audits – All Things New

Pre-COVID-19 we were already gearing up for multiple large changes in the way that audits are completed as well as reporting requirements. These changes were all postponed during the pandemic and now we are preparing for them to take effect as soon as 12/31/21. During this session our A&A leaders will discuss the timeline of each of the changes and how to best prepare. They will cut through the complexity and confusion and provide a quick reference reviewing what to expect. 

  • Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, participants will have a better understanding of the upcoming changes in audit requirements and how to best prepare.
