On August 31, 2020 Governor Kay Ivey awarded $10 million of the Coronavirus Relief Fund statewide program to help Alabama timber owners affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Timber owners who qualify for the grant and have harvested timber in Alabama during the months of March through July 2020 can receive up to $10,000 in grant funds. The grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and will be administered through the Alabama Forestry Commission.
