Written on June 22, 2022

Cody Daughtry, CPA, CITP, of the firm’s Montgomery accounting and advisory office recently received the Technology Advisory Standing Ovation award from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). This award was presented during the AICPA and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ (CIMA) ENGAGE 2022 event in Las Vegas.

The Technology Advisory Standing Ovation award is a part of the AICPA’s Standing Ovation program, which recognizes CPAs under 40 who exhibit exemplary professional achievement in specialty areas. They must also maintain an active CPA license and be an AICPA member in good standing.

Daughtry was one of only 12 CPAs honored during ENGAGE. The awards recognized  CPA efforts in specific accounting specialty areas, excellence in volunteer efforts or significant contributions to the accounting profession.

“I’m honored to have received AICPA’s Technology Advisory Standing Ovation Award,” said Daughtry. “The fulfilling and engaging work that I do for my clients in the technology and accounting realms has also allowed me to grow professionally in my skills and knowledge. I can’t wait to see how I can continue to grow my capabilities to further serve my clients in the future.”
