Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that Cody Daughtry, CPA, CITP, of our Firm’s Montgomery accounting office has graduated from Leadership Montgomery’s Torchbearers Class.

The Torchbearers Class was established in 2008 in response to the community’s need to attract and retain an educated population of young professionals; it is a nine-month class designed to equip young leaders with the skills and connections necessary to propel them to the next level of community leadership and professional success.

The program cultivates skills such as teamwork, leadership development and exposure to critical community issues to enhance members’ understanding of themselves and the community.

“Cody is such a valuable part of our team here at Warren Averett, and we congratulate him on his recent graduation from the Torchbearers program,” said Sandy Coaker, CPA, Office Managing Member in Montgomery. “We appreciate Leadership Montgomery and all they do to advance Montgomery’s talented young professionals and our business community.”

Cody Daughtry has almost nine years of experience in auditing, accounting, compliance, consulting and taxation engagements. He is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and he graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He resides in Prattville with his wife and his daughter.

“It was an honor to be a part of Leadership Montgomery’s Torchbearers Class,” said Daughtry. “I enjoyed the nine months that I spent in the program. With the skills I gained, I feel confident providing the best service to my clients and my community.”
