Michael Andrews Elected to Serve as Montgomery Estate Planning Council Treasurer

Warren Averett, LLC is pleased to announce The Montgomery Estate Planning Council (MEPC) has elected Michael Andrews, CPA, ABV, of the Montgomery office, to serve as the Treasurer of the organization for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019.  Andrews has served on the board of directors since July 2018.

The Montgomery Estate Planning Council was formed in the 1960s to provide a better understanding of estate planning and the services estate planners can provide to the general public.  Members of the Council strive to promote cooperation among the various disciplines (attorneys, CPAs, CLUs, ChFCs, trust officers and CFP) involved in estate planning, and foster a better understanding of the proper relationship that each discipline bears to the other, their clients and the general public.

Andrews is a Manager in the Firm’s Estate Planning Division. He has extensive experience working in the personal services, tax and consulting service areas, with specialties in estates, trusts and business valuations.
