Microsoft Offers Free Teams Subscription as Businesses Respond to COVID-19

Written by Warren Averett on March 23, 2020

Businesses across the country are increasingly opting to implement remote work policies in light of growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

To assist businesses in enabling a remote workforce quickly, Microsoft, in conjunction with its partners like Warren Averett Technology Group, is offering its collaborative solution, Microsoft Teams, to businesses at no charge for six months. This comes as part of a free E1/G1 subscription offering from Microsoft to help businesses facilitate agile internal communications and operations (through features like video chat and file-sharing) as they respond to the impact of the coronavirus.

If you’re currently not licensed for Teams, Warren Averett Technology Group, as a Microsoft partner, can help you sign up for a six-month trial for free. Reach out to us at 334.260.2435 or email us at, and we will provide you with the information that you need to get started. After the six-month period ends, our team can also consult about maintaining your subscription after the crisis subsides, should you chose to do so.
