Warren Averett Atlanta Office Welcomes Two New Senior Employees
ATLANTA (Aug. 6, 2018) — Warren Averett, CPAs and Advisors recently welcomed Tax Principal, Elizabeth Powell, CPA and Audit Senior Manager, Jennifer Williams, CPA to the Firm’s Atlanta office.
Elizabeth Powell joined Warren Averett after serving in the federal tax division of an international accounting firm for over three years. She now serves as a Principal in Warren Averett’s Tax Department. Elizabeth has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. Her primary responsibilities at Warren Averett will include providing international, federal, state and local tax services to clients. Elizabeth will also provide tax compliance and tax planning for alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, offshore funds, private-equity groups, mezzanine funds and venture capital funds.
Jennifer Williams joins Warren Averett after spending the last 17 years at a Big Four Accounting Firm, where she served as an auditor and business advisor. Her client base includes both nonprofit and for-profit organizations ranging from local foundations to large, global and multi-national organizations. Jennifer has extensive experience in financial statement and Uniform Guidance audits for nonprofit organizations including foundations, universities, private school systems, global humanitarian relief organizations, health and welfare organizations.
