Warren Averett Hires New Strategic Advisor

Warren Averett, CPAs and Advisors recently welcomed Ely Friedman as Strategic Advisor for the Firm’s Private Equity and Corporate Advisory Services Group. Ely will focus heavily on new client acquisition through support of the Firm’s Transaction Advisory Services.

Ely joins Warren Averett from Business Acquisition and Merger Associates (“BAMA”) where he supported buyers in finding businesses to purchase. Prior to that, he worked on Bank of America’s trading floor handling corporate investments and managing the balance sheet derivatives desk. He also spent a year supporting Bank of America’s credit risk group.

Ely earned his bachelor’s degree with a specialty in finance from Queens University of Charlotte. While there, he played on the Division II soccer team and ran on the track and field team. He has experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, turnaround advisory, profit enhancement and valuation services within a variety of different industries.

Ely is an active member of F3 Nation, whose mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of the male community leadership. In his free time, you will most likely find him working out, hunting or at a networking event.
