Warren Averett Welcomes New Member, Todd McAdams, to Firm

Warren Averett welcomes Todd McAdams, CPA, CGMA, MAcc, as a Member of the Firm’s Government Contracting practice and Huntsville office. This announcement comes just weeks after Warren Averett, a top 30 accounting firm, and Beason & Nalley, a Huntsville based accounting firm with a strong government contracting practice, announced they are joining forces effective Nov. 1, 2016.

With more than 15 years of experience working with government contractors, McAdams joins Warren Averett to further strengthen and expand services in this area. He is a proven leader, working with defense contractors across the country ranging in size from start-ups to $200 million plus in annual contract revenues. McAdams has extensive knowledge of government contractor accounting, DCAA audit support, accounting system setup and support, pricing and proposal support, federal acquisition regulation (FAR), incurred cost submission preparation, provisional rate and forward pricing development, audit and assurance services, internal controls, ESOP’s, stock options and other employee benefit plans, business valuation, CFO and outsourced accounting support, and general planning and advisory services for small and large businesses.

McAdams attended the University of Alabama Huntsville and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, as well as his Masters of Accountancy degree. He is a HEALS, Inc. board member (and Past President, VP and Treasurer), on the American Heart Association Executive Leadership Team, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church (and their Children & Family and Finance Committees), a part of the Committee of 100, the Huntsville Hospital Development Council, and a former board member of the YMCA and Huntsville Childcare Center.  McAdams is a graduate of Upstream Partner Leadership Academy, 2014; ASCPA Leadership Academy Class One, 2012; Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Connect Class 9, 2009; and has won the ASCPA’s “Accounting Achievement” and “Individual Leadership” awards.
