Warren Averett’s Anniston Team Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Volunteer Gift Wrapping
Team members in Warren Averett’s Anniston accounting and advisory office recently volunteered and wrapped gifts to raise money for 2nd Chance Inc. this holiday season.
2nd Chance provides safe shelter and services for victims of domestic and sexual violence and offers educational outreach to residents in their communities, empowering victims in their recovery and encouraging the public toward intervention in these crimes.
They serve Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Etowah, Randolph and Talladega counties, where they offer emergency shelter at confidential locations, transitional housing, assistance with permanent housing, legal advocacy, individual counseling and more to help ensure that the survivors can adapt and thrive.
During the month of December, our Anniston CPAs, advisors and business professionals spent an afternoon gathered at the local mall in Oxford to wrap gifts.
“It was a pleasure to help wrap gifts this holiday season,” said Rodney Gibson, CPA, Anniston’s Office Managing Member. “As a firm, we really enjoy volunteering in our communities and sharing our success wherever possible. I was happy to see how excited our team got and loved seeing them live out our culture. I can’t wait for other opportunities to give back to our community in the future.”
