Warren Averett’s higher education consulting team is one of the largest providers of Single Audits in the Southeast.
We have many years of experience working with entities under common management. We understand not just the accounting and reporting implications, but also how to navigate the often-political waters. We are familiar with the auditing standards related to group audits and understand the importance of meeting deadlines while providing a quality audit to be relied upon by oversight agencies.
Our higher education consulting team also serves a variety of entities that have outstanding bond issues and has been recognized by various bond insurers, bond underwriters, bond trustees and bond counsels for our experience with entities that participate in the tax-exempt bond market. We are also experienced in helping clients with municipal/governmental bond issues during an auditor transition.
