April Harry Named a 2026 CEO to Watch by the Birmingham Business Journal
April Harry, the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, has been named one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s 10 New CEOs to Watch in 2026.
The list highlights chief executives who are shaping the future of their organizations and industries through strategic leadership, innovation and community engagement. Harry was selected in recognition of her leadership approach and her role in guiding the firm through its next chapter of growth.

April was named Chief Executive Officer in 2025 after previously serving as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Since joining the firm’s Birmingham accounting and advisory office in 2007, she has held multiple leadership roles and has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, operational performance and culture.
In addition to her responsibilities at Warren Averett, April remains actively involved in the Birmingham community through professional and civic engagement and has been recognized throughout her career for leadership excellence.
Under her leadership, the firm continues to focus on delivering practical advisory solutions while investing in its people, technology and capabilities to better serve clients across the Southeast.
April lives in Birmingham with her husband and their three children.
