Warren Averett’s Daphne Office Celebrates Eastern Shore Community With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Our Daphne accounting team kicked off the month of April with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate being a part of the Eastern Shore community. Warren Averett’s Teams Celebrate Spring

During the month of April, our teams celebrated spring in a variety of ways:

  • In Huntsville, our team spent time together at a cook-out that featured burgers, hotdogs and five flavors of wings. Towards the end of the month, they welcomed the spring season with an Easter egg hunt and ice cream.
  • Our Birmingham office hosted an exciting viewing party for the opening of the Masters Tournament. They enjoyed lunch, sipped on Arnold Palmers and participated in a putting tournament.
  • Our Montgomery office took a break and enjoyed miniature charcuterie boards made by The Heart Boxes, which is a local company that specializes in charcuterie and cheese boards and boxes.

Colleen Aldridge Featured in Bloomberg Tax & Accounting Article

Atlanta’s Colleen Aldridge, CPA, leader of the firm’s State & Local Tax Practice Group, was recently featured in a Bloomberg Tax & Accounting article. In the article, experts discussed a Senate proposal to cap the amount of SALT liabilities that businesses can deduct on their federal returns.
