Claiborne Morris Serves on the Construction Financial Management Association Board
Claiborne Morris, CPA, CCIFP, a Member in the firm’s Birmingham accounting and advisory office, is serving as the 2024 Board Vice President for the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA’s) Alabama Chapter.
The Alabama Chapter of CFMA was formed in 1990 and is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. CFMA provides a forum for construction management professionals and service providers in the state. The Board is dedicated to developing and coordinating programs focused on improving the professional standards of construction financial managers.
“I look forward to serving in this role and ensuring that our members are exposed to meaningful content, and can engage with other professionals in the construction industry,” said Morris. “This new position will not only give me the chance to connect with my peers but also to gain new insight to help my clients accomplish more of what’s important to them.”
Claiborne Morris joined Warren Averett in 2012 and is a Member in the firm’s Tax Division. He has more than 10 years of public accounting experience and is a member of the firm’s Construction, Real Estate and Transaction Advisory Groups. His primary responsibilities include tax preparation and planning, as well as ensuring that all strategies are fully executed.
