Claiborne Morris Recognized as Birmingham Business Journal’s 2023 NextGen of Accounting
Claiborne Morris, CPA, CCIFP, a Member in our Birmingham accounting and advisory firm, has been recognized as an honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal in their 2023 NextGen BHM: Accounting awards.
The 2023 NextGen BHM: Accounting awards spotlight emerging leaders in the accounting world who are playing pivotal roles at their firms and with their clients, while also making their mark on the overall Birmingham accounting scene. Honorees were selected based on nominations received by the Birmingham Business Journal and feedback from industry leaders.
Claiborne Morris joined Warren Averett in 2012 and is a Member in the firm’s Tax Division. He has more than 10 years of public accounting experience and is a member of the firm’s Construction and Real Estate Group and Transaction Advisory Group. His primary responsibilities include tax preparation, planning and ensuring that planning strategies are fully executed.
In the article that spotlights honorees, Morris and the other emerging leaders discussed the most rewarding moments of their careers, valuable life lessons, professional challenges and their ultimate career goals.
When asked about his ultimate career goal, Morris said: “Helping my clients thrive in their businesses is my ultimate goal. If I can play a part in that, then my personal career will work itself out.”
