Cristy Andrews Discusses Personal Accounting on She Can Podcast
Cristy Andrews, CPA, CGMA, a Member in the Tax Division of the firm’s Montgomery accounting and advisory office, was recently featured on an episode of the Alabama Securities Commission’s (ASC) She Can podcast.
The She Can program is designed to empower women with the tools and resources they need to feel confident and prepared in managing their finances. The podcast—one of the program’s many offerings—features insights from women who are experts at navigating life’s financial challenges.
During the episode, Cristy shared practical tips on understanding your personal financial situation, budgeting effectively, balancing checkbooks and managing other personal financial needs.

Cristy is the leader of Warren Averett’s Real Estate Accounting Group, and she has proven experience specializing in accounting, tax and consulting services for businesses in the real estate industry. She primarily focuses on planning and managing engagements, as well as researching industry-specific tax issues to provide clients with the right solutions for their needs.
In addition to her professional role at the firm, Cristy serves as Commissioner of the Alabama Securities Commission, which is responsible for regulating the securities industry in Alabama. The Alabama Securities Commission works to protect investors from securities fraud and to ensure the integrity of the state’s capital markets. She is also involved in her community, serving as a member of the Montgomery Rotary Club and the Auburn University at Montgomery’s Accounting Advisory Board.
