Warren Averett’s Fort Walton Beach Office Supports Road Dogg Rescue
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors’ Fort Walton Beach accounting and advisory office recently supported Road Dogg Rescue through Warren Averett’s Animal Advocacy Group.
Warren Averett’s Animal Advocacy Group (WAAAG) brings together team members who are dedicated to improving the lives of animals and encouraging others to explore opportunities in volunteering and fostering.
Every summer, WAAAG leads its Annual Days of Service, inviting team members from across the firm to volunteer at local animal shelters. These events are a hands-on way to support both the communities and the animals in those communities.
On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, our Fort Walton Beach accountants and advisors visited Road Dogg Rescue to clean dog beds, bathe dogs, build a small garden fountain, clean out and reorganize the dog food pantry, and more.
Road Dogg Rescue is a 100% foster-based rescue. They offer transport to their low-cost spay/neuter clinic for community cats and bully dog breeds. All of the animals that are in the shelter are vetted and ready for their forever homes.
“We enjoyed our time volunteering at Road Dogg Rescue and spending time with their pups,” said Kerry Duval, Warren Averett’s Talent Supervisor and one of WAAAG’s leaders. “Small rescues like these rely on volunteers to help keep them up and running. To know that we not only made a difference in the lives of the animals but that we offered one afternoon of relief for their regular volunteers was really meaningful, and I look forward to more volunteer opportunities like this one in the future.”
