Heather Pugh Named Young Alumnus of the Year by Troy University’s Carr School of Accountancy

Heather Pugh, CPA, a Manager in the Audit Division in our Montgomery accounting and advisory office, has been honored with the Young Alumnus of the Year Award from Troy University’s Carr School of Accountancy.

The Carr School of Accountancy is known for preparing students for careers in public accounting, government and industry across the Southeastern United States. The school is consistently ranked among the top for CPA exam pass rates and is recognized for its contributions to the accounting profession through research and community engagement.

The Young Alumnus of the Year Award celebrates graduates who exemplify leadership, integrity and service.

Heather was recognized at a private awards luncheon on September 18, 2025, during Troy University’s annual Accountancy Day. The event brought together accounting students and professionals for networking, lunch and a showcase session.

“We are so proud of Heather and all that she has accomplished. Her dedication and professionalism are truly inspiring, and I cannot wait to see what she achieves in the future,” said Cristy Andrews, CPA, CGMA, the Local Partner in Charge – Growth for our Montgomery office.

Heather is a proud graduate of Troy University, where she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in accountancy. She has more than eight years of public accounting experience and specializes in employee benefit plan audits, serving clients in the Construction and Real Estate, Manufacturing and Distribution, and Retail and Consumer industries.
