Jason Alves Graduates from Leadership Northwest Florida Program
Jason Alves, CPA, a Member in the Audit and Transaction Advisory Divisions of Warren Averett’s Panama City accounting and advisory office, graduated from Leadership Northwest Florida’s Class II.
Leadership Northwest Florida is an educational program offered to professionals in all industries that helps participants grow their knowledgebase, networks and skillsets. Twenty-two leaders were selected to participate in this year’s class.
Class II participants were immersed in a seven-month educational program focused on regional collaboration. They met with other leaders from diverse backgrounds and received a holistic education on the conditions, challenges and opportunities throughout the region.
The program began with a retreat in November 2023 and ended this May.
Jason Alves joined Warren Averett in 2016. He has a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, reporting and communications. He works with a wide range of clients from privately held companies to nonprofit organizations.
Alves leads the Florida Gulf Coast Audit Group and is a key team member in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Division. Alves also has extensive experience in corporate and private equity sell-side and buy-side financial diligence transactions.
“I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had as a part of Leadership Northwest Florida’s Class II,” said Alves. “The last nine months have been incredibly eye-opening and helpful as the program allowed me to study and address conditions, challenges and opportunities in the community.
