Jessica Story Selected for the Georgia Charter Schools Association’s Board of Directors

Jessica’s primary responsibilities include managing and overseeing audits, reviews and agreed upon procedure engagements in Atlanta, Georgia.Warren Averett’s Jessica Story, CPA, of the firm’s Atlanta accounting and advisory office, has been selected to serve on the Georgia Charter Schools Association’s (GCSA) Board of Directors.

The GCSA is a nonpartisan advocate, partner and service provider for Georgia’s public charter schools that aims to increase the number of excellent public-school options for all Georgia students.

“As someone who is passionate about working with nonprofits, schools and other foundations, it’s an honor to serve on GCSA’s Board of Directors,” said Story. “I can’t wait to use the expertise that I have to broaden the educational opportunities of students, and I look forward to supporting them through my work on the Board.”

Jessica Story serves on the GCSA’s Policy and Advocacy and Finance committees as a board member. Story is a Senior Manager in Warren Averett’s Audit Division and has more than 14 years of public accounting experience. Story’s primary responsibilities include managing and overseeing audits, reviews and agreed-upon procedure engagements.

Story serves a variety of nonprofit organizations, including schools, foundations and faith-based organizations. She is also a member of Warren Averett’s Culture Committee, where she drives cultural awareness and emphasizes firmwide fundamentals and values. Story resides in Johns Creek with her husband and their two children.
