Kim Hartsock Wins the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants’ 2024 Public Service Award

Kim Hartsock, CPA, Managing Member of Warren Averett’s Atlanta accounting and advisory office, has won the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (GSCPA) 2024 Public Service Award.

GSCPA is the professional organization for certified public accountants (CPAs) in Georgia. Their goal is to help local CPAs achieve excellence by providing superior advocacy, service and personal and professional development opportunities.

The annual Public Service Award is hand selected by the Board Chair and recognizes a Georgia CPA who has distinguished him or herself in public service activities at the local, state, regional or national level.

Kim Hartsock was honored at GSCPA’s Spring Council Meeting, where she was presented with the award.

“I am honored to receive this year’s Public Service Award,” said Hartsock. “I am grateful for the opportunities this profession has afforded me. I feel a responsibility to be involved and make an impact on my community whenever I can.”

Hartsock has been the Office Managing Member of Warren Averett’s Atlanta office since 2020. She is an insightful strategist and thought leader who is committed to providing integrated, value-added solutions and cultivating relationships with the firm’s clients and team members.

Hartsock is also extremely committed to her community’s success. She serves on various boards, including the Executive Cabinet of the Gwinnett Chamber, Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia and the Georgia Southern University Foundation.
