Kim Hartsock Serves as Spring 2026 Commencement Speaker at Georgia Southern University
Kim Hartsock, CPA, the Local Partner in Charge – Growth for our Atlanta accounting and advisory office, was recently selected as a Spring 2026 Commencement speaker for her alma mater, Georgia Southern University.
Georgia Southern University is a public research institution with campuses across southeast Georgia that brings together students and prepares them for futures in different industries, including business, healthcare, public service and more.
The university celebrated approximately 4,400 graduates during its Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies, held across multiple campuses in May. Kim was among a distinguished group of speakers invited to address graduates as they celebrated this milestone and prepared for the next chapter of their careers.
Reflecting on the experience, Kim shared it was “an incredible honor” to speak to the Class of 2026 and to be part of such a meaningful moment for graduates and their families.
Kim has served as the Local Partner in Charge – Growth for Warren Averett’s Atlanta office since 2020. She is an insightful strategist and thought leader committed to providing integrated, value-added solutions and building strong relationships with clients and team members.
In addition to her leadership at Warren Averett, Kim is deeply invested in both her community and her alma mater. She serves on several boards, including the Executive Cabinet of the Gwinnett Chamber, the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia and the Georgia Southern University Foundation.
