Kim Hartsock Wins Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Moxie Award
Kim Hartsock, CPA
, Managing Member of Warren Averett’s Atlanta accounting and advisory office, has won the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Moxie Award.
Established in 1947, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce serves more than 2,200 members throughout metro Atlanta by delivering programs that strengthen and connect businesses locally, regionally and globally. The chamber also provides opportunities for businesspeople in the area to connect with one another and expand their networks.
The Moxie Awards program recognizes women who are making an impact in their places of work and throughout the metro Atlanta area. This is the program’s sixth year. Seven winners were chosen from more than 134 finalists, and the award categories range from employers who champion women in business to individuals who have exceled as leaders and innovators.
Winners and finalists were honored at an award ceremony, where they enjoyed networking, breakfast and a keynote speaker who shared insights about branding and company culture.
Hartsock received the eponymous Moxie Award, which is awarded to women in leadership who are inspirations to many and who make profound impacts in their professional careers.
“It’s an honor to receive this year’s Moxie Award,” said Hartsock. “Two of my career goals are empowering people in my firm and helping my community be the best it can be. This award will drive me to keep leading with purpose and making an impact on my community whenever possible.”
Hartsock has been the Office Managing Member of Warren Averett’s Atlanta office since 2020, and she has been with the firm since 2004. She is an insightful strategist and thought leader, who is committed to providing quality integrated, value added solutions and cultivating valuable relationships. Hartsock is also extremely committed to her community’s success. She serves on various boards, including the executive board of the Georgia Southern University Alumni Association.
