Megan Randolph Presents on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act for Nonprofits at the Community Foundation of Huntsville
Megan Randolph, CPA, a Member of the Tax Division in the firm’s Birmingham accounting and advisory office and firmwide Tax Area Leader, co-presented a panel discussion for the Community Foundation of Huntsville on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
The event brought together Community Foundation members, board members and representatives from the Huntsville Hospital Foundation to discuss how the newly enacted One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) may affect nonprofit organizations.
Megan’s presentation provided an overview of key provisions in the OBBBA, including changes to business and individual tax rules, updates for nonprofits and new compliance requirements.
“It was a privilege to connect with so many dedicated leaders in Huntsville,” said Megan. “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act impacts nonprofits both directly and indirectly, and it’s important for nonprofits to stay informed in order to better serve their communities.”
Megan Randolph has been a dedicated member of the Warren Averett team since 2006. She specializes in serving the federal and state tax needs of large nonprofit and government entities, including municipalities, healthcare organizations and universities.
She serves on the firm’s Operations Board as the firmwide Tax Area Leader and is responsible for managing all of the Tax Division operations of the firm. She is also the Chairman of the Warren Averett Foundation, which is the firm’s charitable organization.
