Mindy Rankin Discusses Disaster Relief on FICPA’s CEO Conversations Podcast

FICPA is Florida’s premier professional organization that represents and advocates for Florida’s CPAs, serving the needs of its members, supporting its professional standards and advocating on behalf of the accounting profession.

The CEO Conversations podcast is one of many resources that FICPA offers to its members to help enhance their professional capabilities and knowledge.

Throughout the podcast episode, Rankin discussed the top five things Florida accountants need to know to help their clients after natural disasters, including new filing deadlines, qualified disaster information, cost calculation and more.

“I really enjoyed being a guest on the CEO Conversations podcast,” said Rankin. “I’ve seen the devastation and impact hurricanes have had on my clients and my community, and I appreciated the chance to share my knowledge with other CPAs so they can help the organizations they serve.”

Mindy Rankin has more than 18 years of public accounting experience. She primarily works with businesses in the construction industry, providing reviews, compilations and assistance to contractors. Mindy has extensive experience assisting businesses affected by natural disasters with tax-related disaster calculations. She also serves on AICPA’s Disaster Tax Relief Task Force.
