Mindy Rankin Serves on The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s Legislative Support Committee
Mindy Rankin, CPA, CCD, of the firm’s Panama City accounting and advisory office, has been selected to serve on the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s (NASBA) Legislative Support Committee for the 2025-2026 year.
Since 1908, NASBA has served as a forum for the nation’s 55 State Boards of Accountancy. The organization accomplishes its mission by creating innovative avenues for accounting industry professions to address emerging issues that affect the whole industry.
The Legislative Support Committee’s current agenda is to develop legislative support strategies and tactics to assist in supporting the Boards of Accountancy.
“Joining NASBA’s Legislative Support Committee is an incredible opportunity to advocate for legislative initiatives that support our profession,” said Mindy. “I look forward to engaging with and working with other industry leaders to help shape strategies that will protect and enhance the profession for years to come.”
Mindy Rankin is a Member in the firm’s Tax Division. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Mindy has developed a strong reputation for her expertise in tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners. Her work in disaster-related tax strategy has positioned her as a trusted advisor to clients facing complex recovery scenarios.
She is widely recognized as a thought leader on disaster tax relief, frequently contributing to discussions and education through organizations such as the AICPA and FICPA. Mindy holds leadership positions in both organizations, serving on the AICPA’s Disaster Tax Relief Task Force and the FICPA’s Board of Directors, and she has presented at many major conferences and webinars. She resides in Lynn Haven, Florida, with her family.
