Montgomery Young Professionals Volunteer With Service Dogs Alabama

Written on October 3, 2025

Team members in Warren Averett’s Montgomery accounting and advisory office recently volunteered with Service Dogs Alabama.

Service Dogs Alabama is a nonprofit organization that trains and places service dogs for individuals with medical and psychiatric disabilities, as well as facility intervention dogs for schools, justice centers and hospitals.

In September, the firm’s Montgomery Young Professionals spent time assisting with dog socialization and helping with various tasks in and around the facility.

“Our team was grateful for the opportunity to support Service Dogs Alabama and see the impact these animals have on the lives of others,” said Jeri Groce, CPA, the leader of the Montgomery Young Professionals. “It was a meaningful experience for all of us.”

Warren Averett is proud to support organizations like Service Dogs Alabama that make a difference in the communities we serve. Thanks to all team members who volunteered.

Warren Averett’s Montgomery Young Professionals is an internal group of team members in the early and mid-stages of their careers, who are committed to community engagement and building meaningful relationships.
