Warren Averett is proud to announce that 14 individuals have been promoted to Members of the Firm, effective January 1, 2022. We are pleased to recognize their past accomplishments and celebrate their future endeavors as they embark on this new chapter of their careers.
Jonathan Chancey, CPA (Audit, Montgomery)
Jon Chancey, CPA, is the Firm’s Regional Industry Leader for manufacturing and distribution in Central and Southeast Alabama. He focuses on providing clients with operational and compliance services and leading clients’ strategic planning to higher levels of effectiveness.
Branden Crosby, CPA, CGMA, MBA (Tax, Destin)
Branden Crosby, CPA, CGMA, MBA, is responsible for maintaining and strengthening client portfolios by providing superior tax and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, corporations and partnerships that serve within the craft brewery, manufacturing, construction contracting and rental property sectors.
Jake Driggers, CPA (Audit, Tampa)
Jake Driggers, CPA, specializes in serving clients in the manufacturing and distribution, agriculture and various other service industries. His primary responsibilities include planning and conducting financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, sales tax audits and other assurance projects.
Anna Goldman, CPA (Audit, Mobile)
Anna Goldman, CPA, serves a wide range of clients in the construction, manufacturing, maritime and healthcare industries as well as clients in the public sector. She serves on the Firm’s Audit Best Practice Leadership Group, which aims to improve and maintain compliance with technical, technological and procedural matters. She began her career in the Firm’s Montgomery office and then transferred to the Mobile office.
Ryan Grauel, CPA (Audit, Birmingham)
Ryan Grauel, CPA, has experience serving clients across multiple industries, including manufacturing, private equity, technology and nonprofits. He is also a member of the Firm’s Audit Best Practice Leadership Group, which involves ensuring the Firm’s Audit Practice is continuously improving and maintaining compliance with technical, technology and procedural matters.
Clare Haenszel, CPA (Audit, Pensacola)
Clare Haenszel, CPA, focuses her practice on clients in the manufacturing, retail and public sector industries. She helps organizations develop effective and efficient financial statement and control processes, implement accounting changes and guide them through transactions of all kinds.
Skye Hensley, CPA (Tax, Pensacola)
Skye Hensley, CPA, is the Firm’s Tax Service Area Leader of the Pensacola office and Gulf Coast Region. She is passionate about improving processes and serves on the Firm’s Tax Best Practice Group. She specializes in helping individuals and their businesses with all their tax and accounting needs.
Jim Lazenby, CPA, AEP (Asset Management, Birmingham)
Jim Lazenby, CPA, AEP, provides corporate, partnership, estate, trust and gift tax services, including individual and estate tax planning services. He specializes in Family Limited Partnerships and charitable planning.
Aaron Nelson (Asset Management, Birmingham)
Aaron Nelson‘s responsibilities include developing client relationships, assisting with clients’ comprehensive financial planning and managing investment portfolios for investors. He specializes in helping clients position their investment portfolios to align with their needs and risk objectives.
Adam Nelson, CPA (Audit, Fort Walton Beach)
Adam Nelson, CPA, executes and manages financial statement audits as a trusted client advisor, providing insight on industry trends, identifying client issues and proactively communicating plausible solutions to clients beyond the debits and credits.
Michael Nix, CPA (Audit, Birmingham)
Michael Nix, CPA, acts as clients’ contact throughout the financial statement audit process and manages team members within Warren Averett’s Audit Division. Michael also serves on the Firm’s Audit Best Practice Leadership Group, which aims to improve and maintain compliance with technical, technological and procedural matters.
Jennifer Pemble, CPA, CFE, CHBC (Healthcare, Birmingham)
Jennifer Pemble, CPA, CFE, CHBC, specializes in business consulting and tax planning for medical practices and healthcare facilities. She is adept at helping clients make important business decisions including, but not limited to, planning for a merger or acquisition, onboarding new providers and building compensation calculations for medical practice owners.
Michael Rebarchak, CPA (Audit, Birmingham)
Michael Rebarchak, CPA, has experience serving clients across multiple industries, including healthcare facilities/hospitals, distribution, natural resources and technology. He is a member of the Firm’s Healthcare Client Service Group, manages staff on audit engagements and works with clients on implementing new accounting standards updates and their impact on financial reporting.
William Shuford, CPA (Audit, Atlanta)
William Shuford, CPA, serves on the Firm’s Best Practice Committee and focuses his practice on serving clients in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and healthcare industries. He enjoys assisting clients execute acquisitions and plan for a future exit.
