Warren Averett’s Paul Perry Inducted into the Troy University Accounting Hall of Honor
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that Paul Perry, FHFMA, CISM, CITP, CPA, CDPSE, a Member in the Firm’s Birmingham office, has been inducted into the Troy University Accounting Hall of Honor. The Troy University Accounting Hall of Honor recognizes successes and long-term contributions to professional accounting.
Perry graduated from Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting and Information Systems emphasis. He is still regularly involved in the Troy University alumni community, where he serves as an Executive Advisory Council Member to Troy’s Sorrell College of Business.
“I am honored to be inducted into Troy University’s Accounting Hall of Honor,” said Perry. “I am grateful for the opportunity to have spent my career educating and serving clients in both accounting and technology. Troy University was a great foundation for these efforts, and I look forward to continuing my work for years to come.”
Perry has been with the Firm since 2004 as a Birmingham CPA, and he is the practice leader of the Security, Risk and Controls Group. Paul and his team focus on cybersecurity, information technology related projects, risk assessments, internal controls, internal audit and control-related projects. He is also the leader of the Firm’s Data Analysis Group and a co-host of Warren Averett’s podcast, The Wrap.
