Warren Averett’s Pensacola Office Supports the Pensacola Humane Society
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors’ Pensacola accounting and advisory office recently supported the Pensacola Humane Society through Warren Averett’s Animal Advocacy Group.
Warren Averett’s Animal Advocacy Group (WAAAG) is a team-driven initiative made up of employees who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of animals and inspiring others to get involved in volunteering and fostering.
Each summer, WAAAG hosts its Annual Days of Service to advance its mission of supporting local communities and their pets. During these events, team members from across the firm come together at nearby shelters to volunteer their time and lend a helping hand.
On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, our Pensacola accountants and advisors visited the Pensacola Humane Society to walk and play with the dogs, clean up and help with laundry in the shelter’s surgery building, and organize the community pet pantry.
The Pensacola Humane Society promotes the compassionate and humane treatment of cats and dogs by providing resources and services that help improve their welfare. They rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in crisis and ensure healthy pets through education, advocacy and affordable services.
