Stephen Perkins Named One of United Way Emerald Coast’s Emerging Leaders 40 Under 40
Stephen Perkins, CPA, of the firm’s Fort Walton Beach accounting and advisory office, has been named as one of United Way Emerald Coast’s Emerging Leaders 40 Under 40.
United Way Emerald Coast’s Emerging Leaders is a network for young professionals dedicated to creating lasting impact in Okaloosa and Walton counties through volunteerism, advocacy and philanthropy.
The 40 Under 40 awards honor top young leaders in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Recipients of the awards all excel in the areas of leadership, community involvement and professional accomplishment.
“It is an honor to be named one of the 40 Under 40 this year,” said Perkins. “I strive to serve my clients, the firm and my local community in the best ways that I can, and I’m proud to share this award with other young professionals who have done the same in their careers.”
Stephen Perkins is a Member in the firm’s Tax Department, and he joined Warren Averett in 2014. Perkins’ primary responsibilities include tax planning and reviewing and preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals.
Perkins resides in Fort Walton Beach where he is an active and involved community advocate. Perkins serves as the Board Chairman for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, and he is committed to nurturing and empowering young professionals in the local area.
