Stephen Perkins Featured in Get the Coast
Stephen Perkins, CPA, of the firm’s Fort Walton Beach accounting and advisory office, was recently featured in Get the Coast’s “How I Work” series.
Get the Coast is a leading media outlet dedicated to sharing the stories of Emerald Coast residents. Each week, their team produces original video and written content to keep the local community informed and connected.
The “How I Work” series highlights influential business leaders in the area, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their daily routines, essential tools and insights into what makes them successful.
When asked about a typical workday, Stephen shared: “Most of the time, I’m fielding calls, emails or meetings with clients about their unique tax questions or deals that they’re considering—aiming to minimize the tax impact or maximize the return they’re looking for.”
Stephen Perkins is a Member of the firm’s Tax Department and has been with Warren Averett since 2014. His primary responsibilities include tax planning, as well as preparing and reviewing tax returns for both businesses and individuals.
A Fort Walton Beach resident for the past 11 years, Stephen is deeply committed to his community. He recently served as Board Chairman for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce and continues to champion initiatives that nurture and empower young professionals in the area.
