Van Trefethen Chosen as One of Top CPAs in Alabama by Business Alabama
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce Van Trefethen, CPA, of the Firm’s Birmingham office, has been recognized as one of the top CPAs in Alabama by Business Alabama and the Alabama Society of CPAs.
Van Trefethen is a Member within the Firm’s Tax Division and he serves as the Birmingham office Tax Service Area Leader. Van has been with the Firm since 2011 and he specializes in tax planning and compliance for closely-held and private-equity owned businesses. He co-led the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Group for the Firm and served on the COVID-19 Task Force as well. He is an accomplished thought leader and author of many of the Firm’s publications on tax issues. Van is professionally affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Business Alabama and the Alabama Society of CPAs compiles a list of the Top 25 CPAs in Alabama who are honored with this designation. The recipients are identified, recognized and honored because they are the best of the best when it comes to accounting and the clients that they serve.
