Emily Jones, PMP, CABM, MCITP, the Director of Operations for Warren Averett Technology Group, was recently featured in an article published by Channel Futures. Channel Futures is a media brand devoted to the diverse spectrum of channel companies focused on the digital services revolution.

With the constantly evolving industry, the increasing reliance on cloud-based hosting services and the need for new data-center equipment, Warren Averett Technology Group knew the switch from a data-center to cloud-based hosting was inevitable.
Warren Averett Technology Group was able to reduce capital expenditure with the switch to cloud-based hosting. Emily and her team were also able to justify the change to clients easily. “We explained that with new advancements in cloud solutions, we can now provide them more flexibility and redundancy by migrating client data from the data center to Microsoft Azure,” she noted in the piece. Today, Warren Averett Technology Group is in the process of migrating all clients over to the Microsoft platform. The plan is to completely discontinue the private data-center operation when the migration is complete. Emily said, “We’re excited to see the positive impact that it will have on our clients as we move forward.”
