Derek Johnson joined Warren Averett in 2014 to launch the accounting recruiting subsidiary in Tampa, and he became a Member in 2017. Now, Derek is instrumental in building lasting relationships between the firm and businesses in need of accounting solutions, including audits, reviews, compilations and tax planning and preparation. Derek enjoys helping closely held, small- to mid-size businesses thrive in today’s environment. He does so by being a trusted advisor and helping find the right business accounting solutions that fit each company’s needs. Derek impacts the growth of the firm daily through building and developing new client relationships, as well as assisting other team members in their efforts to expand services to our clients.
