Warren Averett Named Business Alabama’s 2024 Best Company to Work For in Alabama

Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors has been named one of the 2024 Best Companies to Work For in Alabama by Business Alabama, placing first in the Large Companies category. While this is the third consecutive year that Warren Averett has received this award, this is the first time that the firm has been honored as the top company in the category. Warren Averett Team Celebrates the Holidays

Throughout the Southeast, our team members gathered together to celebrate the holidays and give back to their local communities:

  • In Birmingham, team members enjoyed a holiday celebration with appetizers, great music and fellowship with each other. Team members also sponsored 20 Angel Tree Kids and worked together to help cross items off of their Christmas wish lists. Santa himself came to the Warren Averett office to pick up the gifts to distribute them to the children.
  • In Atlanta, team members got to celebrate the magic of the holiday season, literally! A local magician helped keep everyone laughing and spellbound while they enjoyed food, music and each other’s company.
  • In Huntsville, team members tested their luck with a casino-themed party. The team member with the highest winnings was allowed to steal any gift in the prize drawing at the end of the night.
  • In Cullman, team members enjoyed an evening at the famous Christkindlmarkt. The unique experience offers attendees plenty of winter fun, ranging from rides on the largest Ferris wheel in Alabama and a Christmas carousel to learning from experts in artisan workshops.
  • In Anniston, our team enjoyed a variety of holiday activities. From collecting toys for the Anniston Police Department’s Annual Toy Drive to bonding over a game at Top Golf in Birmingham, team members embraced the spirit of giving and strengthened their relationships.
  • In Montgomery, the Audit team enjoyed a holiday gathering at Ravello Ristorante downtown. The Women of Warren Averett in Montgomery also gathered for a watercolor workshop, where Cristy Andrews, CPA, CGMA, a Member and the firm’s Real Estate Industry Group Leader, led the class in painting a wreath and a Christmas tree.

Ryan Chaffin Serves on The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Accounting Advisory Board

Huntsville’s Ryan Chaffin, CPA, a Member, has been chosen to serve on The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s College of Business Accounting Advisory Board, which helps the college prepare students for successful careers and serve the local community’s needs.
