Ryan Chaffin Serves on The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Accounting Advisory Board
Ryan Chaffin, CPA, a Member in the firm’s Huntsville accounting and advisory office, has been chosen to serve on The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s College of Business Accounting Advisory Board.
The Accounting Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity to the dean and college, allowing for collaboration between the school and local industry experts. Its overall purpose is to help the college prepare students for successful careers and serve the local community’s needs.
Board members are accomplished professionals and leaders who act as the voice of their firms, the accounting profession and the business community to UAH’s faculty and staff. The board meets a few times a year to discuss the current state of the profession, industry challenges and growth opportunities.
“I look forward to serving on the Accounting Advisory Board,” said Chaffin. “As a proud UAH Charger, I’m excited to work with my fellow alumni and help the College of Business and its students reach new levels of success.”
Ryan Chaffin joined the firm in 2002. He serves companies operating in the manufacturing, distribution, technology and investment industries. Ryan has extensive experience providing audits, reviews and other assurance projects. He is also a member of the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Practice Group.
Ryan lives in Huntsville with his wife and their three children.
