Warren Averett Announces 2022 Firm-Wide Promotions

Our team of CPAs, advisors and other professionals have been hard at work this year to provide exceptional service, and in May, 111 of our team members were promoted! Each office celebrated promoted team members in different ways, including the Huntsville office’s barbecue tailgate and the Pensacola office’s celebratory breakfast. Warren Averett Recognized as a Best Place to Work in Birmingham

Warren Averett’s Birmingham office has been recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Birmingham. The Best Places to Work distinction honors employers in Birmingham whose companies are the ideal places to work. Warren Averett Sponsors Silicon Y’all Technology Summit

The firm recently sponsored Founders Advisors’ eighth annual Silicon Y’all Technology Summit, which took place in Birmingham from April 18 through April 20. This is the fifth time that Warren Averett has sponsored this event. Silicon Y’all is a great opportunity for professionals to hear personal stories from entrepreneurs, to network with top technology leaders and to share best practices for driving enterprise value. Atlanta Office Sponsors VeloCity 2022

Some of our Atlanta team members recently participated in and sponsored the Grady Health Foundation’s VeloCity 2022 event. VeloCity is a cycling, running and walking event that raises funds to ensure quality health is available in Atlanta, making the city healthier and stronger. Team members walked, ran and cycled to show their support for the Grady Health Foundation and its patients.

Huntsville Office Sponsors the Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Huntsville Classic

The firm recently sponsored the Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Huntsville Classic, which took place at the brand-new Orion Amphitheater. This was the very first concert held at the Orion, and our Huntsville team (and their families) enjoyed wonderful live music from Jake Owens. The proceeds from this concert will help expand specialized pediatric services at the Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. Proceeds also benefited the Canines for Coping program.

Scott Bradbary and Pensacola Office Team Up for Studer Community Institute’s 2022 SCI Symposium

Warren Averett’s Pensacola office was presenting sponsor of this year’s 2022 Studer Community Institute Symposium on Supervisor Essentials on April 28. The Supervisor Essentials Symposium Part II was created to hone in on turnover at the crucial supervisor/middle management level and help deliver some quality content relevant to recruiting and retaining this level of talent. Several accountants and advisors from our Pensacola team were able to attend, and Cyndi Warren, Office Managing Member of the Pensacola and Foley offices, kicked off the event and talked about why we love SCI and our shared vision of helping support and grow the Gulf Coast community. Our very own Scott Bradbary, Chief Talent Officer and Member of the firm’s Birmingham office, spoke to attendees about the importance of reward and recognition.

Tampa Team Wins the Osceola High School Golf Tournament

Our Tampa team recently sponsored and secured a solid victory at the Osceola High School Golf Tournament. One of our team members even won the “Long Drive” of the tournament. Proceeds went to support the high school students in funding their Future Business Leaders of America trip to Chicago.

Paul Perry, FHFMA, CISM, CITP, CPA, CDPSE, and Justin Headley, CISSP, CISA, CDPSE, CRISC, of our Birmingham office recently spoke at TechBirmingham’s CyberNow Summit. TechBirmingham’s CyberNow Summit was a three-day event that brought together the region’s cybersecurity professionals for training, networking and business development.
