Charles Bailey Serves as the Southeastern Alternative Funds Association’s Board President
Charles Bailey, CPA, a Member in the firm’s Audit Division and Practice Leader of the Alternative Investments Industry Group in our Atlanta accounting and advisory office, is serving as the Southeastern Alternative Funds Association’s (SEAFA) Board President.
SEAFA is committed to advancing the alternative investment community across the Southeast by sponsoring impactful programs, fostering a dynamic forum for active professionals and providing valuable educational resources to its members. The organization keeps members informed on evolving industry trends, regulatory developments, best practices and the current investment landscape.
Charles has been a member of SEAFA for over a decade and has served on its Board of Directors for more than four years. As Board President, he hopes to make a meaningful impact on fellow industry professionals and continue building a strong, collaborative community.
“Serving on SEAFA’s Board as the President allows me to give back to an industry that has shaped my career,” said Charles. “I’m excited to help foster growth, collaboration and innovation among our members and throughout the Southeast.”
Charles joined Warren Averett’s team of Atlanta CPAs and advisors in 2013, bringing more than 28 years of public and private accounting experience. He provides audit and business consulting services to domestic and international hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital firms. His expertise spans various fund structures, including single strategy funds, fund of funds with master feeders, and funds with multiple series.
Warren Averett’s Alternative Investments Industry Practice Group provides timely, customized services (including annual audits, tax services, performance examinations, and monthly or quarterly NAVs) within a reasonable fee structure. The team helps clients build infrastructure suited to their specific needs, coordinates with attorneys, third-party administrators and prime brokers, leverages leading technology and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
