Warren Averett’s Destin and Fort Walton Beach Offices Celebrate the Firm’s 50th Anniversary
Warren Averett’s Destin and Fort Walton Beach offices recently held a joint 50th anniversary celebration.
The event was held on November 16, 2022. Team members and clients gathered at Beach Camp Brewpub’s Destin Harbor location, where they reveled in the wonderful ambience of Destin’s newest local spot. The celebration allowed everyone to dine, try a curated selection of beverages and enjoy each other’s company.
“It was an honor to celebrate with our Destin and Fort Walton Beach clients and team members at the Beach Camp Brewpub,” said Kevin Bowyer, CPA, CITP, CISA, CDPSE, Destin’s Office Managing Member. “Not only did we get to celebrate with each other and enjoy the wonderful food and drinks provided, but it gave us the opportunity to look towards the future and reflect on everything that has led us towards today.”
Warren Averett is celebrating the firm’s 50th anniversary through this event and others across the Southeast. Throughout the year, team members have given back and deepened bonds in the local Destin and Fort Walton Beach communities through client celebrations, service projects and other initiatives.
The offices have participated in the firm’s 50 Acts of Service challenge through a combined blood drive, raising money for a local pet rescue, memorial golf tournaments and an inter-office food drive.
