Heather Locklar Named to Birmingham Business Journal’s 2023 Top 40 Under 40 List
Heather Locklar, J.D., of Warren Averett’s Birmingham accounting and advisory office, has been named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2023 Top 40 Under 40.
The Top 40 Under 40 class is selected from hundreds of nominations and honors the best and brightest emerging leaders who have distinguished themselves in their industries before turning 40.
The honorees will be celebrated on February 16, 2023, at Iron City Birmingham, where they will enjoy networking and an awards presentation.
“I am honored to be named one of Birmingham’s Top 40 Under 40,” said Locklar. “I strive to serve my clients, the firm and the local community in the best way that I can. My work at Warren Averett has been so fulfilling, and I look forward to serving my clients and community for a long time to come.”
Heather Locklar is an Estate Planner and Member in the firm’s Tax Division. Locklar focuses on tailoring the estate planning process to help families and individuals meet their goals. Additionally, she advises small business owners on effective business succession techniques.
Locklar is highly involved in the local community and holds numerous professional affiliations, including the America Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Estate Planning Council. She also serves as a CLE instructor for the National Business Institute.
