Jennifer Pemble, CPA, CFE, CHBC Featured in Podcast and Publication for Healthcare Businesses
Warren Averett’s Jennifer Pemble, CPA, CFE, CHBC was recently featured in the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants’ (NSCHBC) podcast and publication.
Her article, “Provider Relief Funding (PRF) took on many faces, PPP1 and PPP2, EDIL, HHS Funding and more. Are you prepared for Tax Season?”, and podcast of the same title covered the many challenges that the healthcare community has faced because of the COVID-19 pandemic. With all the shutdowns, halting of elective surgeries and other situations, physician practices had to navigate and figure out how they’d stay afloat financially.
Luckily, there was plenty of Provider Relief Funding that could help the healthcare community. In both the podcast and the article, Jennifer discussed the offerings provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) funds, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the Accelerated and Advance Payment Program (AAP) and more. They talked about loans versus grants and forgiven funding—plus, the rules and regulations that healthcare professionals need to know so that they can keep it. Lastly, Jennifer commented on the second round of PPP2 and other SBA options.
