Warren Averett’s Michael Nix Recognized as Birmingham Business Journal’s NextGen of Accounting

Michael Nix, CPA, a Member in our Birmingham accounting and advisory firm, has been recognized as a NextGen BHM: Accounting award winner by the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ).
The NextGen BHM: Accounting award highlights emerging young leaders in the accounting world who are playing important roles at their firms and with their clients and who are making their mark on the overall Birmingham accounting scene. Honorees were chosen based on nominations received by the Birmingham Business Journal and feedback from industry leaders.

Michael Nix is a Member within the firm’s Audit Division. He has over nine years of public accounting experience. Throughout his career, he has primarily focused on serving clients in the manufacturing and distribution industry but also has extensive experience serving clients in the construction, professional services and retail and consumer industries.
He serves on the firm’s Audit Best Practice Leadership Group, which aims to continuously improve technical, technological and procedural matters in the firm’s Audit Practice. He resides in Birmingham with his wife, son and daughter.
