Michael Nix, CPA

Michael Nix joined Warren Averett in 2012 and serves as a Member in the firm’s Audit Division. He has more than 14 years of public accounting experience. Over his career, he has primarily focused on serving clients in the construction, manufacturing and distribution, and private equity industries. Additionally, Michael has extensive experience serving clients in the professional services, natural resources and real estate industries. He acts as client contact throughout the financial statement audit process and manages team members within Warren Averett’s Audit Division. Michael serves on the firm’s Audit Best Practice Leadership Group, which aims to continuously improve and maintain compliance with technical, technological and procedural matters within the firm’s Audit Practice. He resides in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife, son and daughter.
