Sandy Coaker Serves as Family Sunshine Center’s Board President
Sandy Coaker, CPA, the Managing Member of the firm’s Montgomery accounting and advisory office, is serving as the Family Sunshine Center’s Board President during 2024.
The Family Sunshine Center (FSC) is a nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. For over 40 years, the Family Sunshine Center has worked to educate the community about the devastating effects of family violence and to offer hope and healing to victims and survivors.
Along with counseling and advocacy services, FSC also provides residential services for anyone seeking refuge and runs a crisis intervention service that offers immediate and emergency-oriented resources.
Coaker previously served on FSC’s Board of Directors as the Treasurer and the Vice President, and she is a proud advocate and supporter of FSC’s mission.
“Warren Averett’s Montgomery office has proudly supported FSC since 1982,” says Coaker. “Each year, our team members help the organization and the survivors along with their families through board service, volunteering and personal giving. It is an honor to serve on the board, and I am honored to continue supporting the Family Sunshine Center in my role as president.”
Coaker has over 30 years of experience providing tax, consulting and advisory services to privately held companies in a broad range of industries, including construction, healthcare and professional services.
