Warren Averett Technology Group, a Microsoft Tier 1 Partner, was recently recognized as third in its Microsoft Partner Tier. To rank Partners, Microsoft measures the amount of growth over a certain length of time. Ranking in the top three is a prestigious recognition.
“We had a lot of growth over the past several months with our migration of clients from the RSA Data Center to Azure, and we want to maintain that growth,” explained Mary Wiggins, Director of Software Services for Warren Averett Technology Group. “Warren Averett Technology Group is highly visible and being sought after by Microsoft to expand our partnership with additional service offerings. We’re exceeding expectations and look forward to what 2019 holds.”
In light of Warren Averett Technology Group’s new recognition, here are a few things to know about how this group can offer value to your company.
Assessing Your Platform to Ensure a Secure Environment
You should be proactive to reduce risk to your technology platforms. It’s not just large companies that are being hacked anymore. Anyone can become a victim. Warren Averett Technology Group has software professionals who can help you assess your needs and find a software platform that can protect your data and improve your efficiency. Below are a few red flags that could indicate a move to a more secure platform would be worthwhile:
- Using regular QuickBooks. Due to the platform’s limited capabilities, companies may be opening themselves up to fraud.
- Using QuickBooks Online. This platform has a limited feature set and may not even allow users to run a full year of detailed general ledgers due to rendering issues resulting in a manual process to consolidate monthly data in Excel.
- Having large databases. If your database is larger than 50MB and you are using a standard version of QuickBooks (e.g. Pro), your database will eventually corrupt. Standard QuickBooks does not support larger databases. Perhaps an upgrade to QuickBooks Enterprise or another software platform is warranted.
- Using a platform with multi-tenants. Risk with multi-tenant providers is twofold. First, your data may be seen by other users. Secondly, there have been several multi-tenant providers who have been hacked recently.
