Atlanta Office Named One of Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Top Workplaces for 2024
Warren Averett’s Atlanta office has been recognized as one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s (AJC) Top Workplaces for 2024. For 14 years, the AJC has surveyed thousands of companies to determine the best places to work in Atlanta. The 175 companies on the list were ranked based on employee feedback scores. Montgomery Young Professionals Volunteer with Children’s Harbor
Team members in Warren Averett’s Montgomery office recently volunteered with Children’s Harbor at their Lake Martin location. Children’s Harbor provides mental health services, educational support and more for children with serious illnesses and their families at no cost. Learn more about their volunteer efforts.

Warren Averett Teams Get Together for Summer Fun
In August, team members throughout our footprint enjoyed fun activities to help bolster bonds and increase community involvement.
- The Montgomery Audit team hosted a team bonding night at the Montgomery Biscuits ballpark. Team members spent time together and even snapped a few pictures with the Montgomery Biscuits’ mascot and local celebrity, Big Mo!
- In Birmingham, the Warren Averett Animal Advocacy Group (WAAAG), an employee-led initiative geared toward making a positive impact in the life of animals, welcomed Adopt A Golden Birmingham to share their mission to rescue and rehome Golden Retrievers.
- In Atlanta, team members enjoyed their second annual Field Day, where they participated in a variety of fun, competitive team-building activities. They even went head-to-head in a relay race.
- Our Estate and Trust professionals gathered for some friendly competition at Top Golf.
- In Huntsville, the Tax team tested their skills at throwing pottery at The Vessel, a ceramic studio that offers exciting and restorative courses for the local community.
- In Pensacola, team members celebrated milestone work anniversaries for employees who have spent anywhere from five years to 40 years with Warren Averett. We couldn’t be more thankful for their dedication to the firm, fellow team members and our clients.
Paul Perry Appointed Alabama Society of CPAs’ Chair-Elect
Paul Perry, FHFMA, CISM, CITP, CPA, CDPSE, a Member in the firm’s Birmingham office, has been appointed Chair-Elect for the Alabama Society of CPAs’ (ASCPA) Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 year.
