Business Alabama Recognizes Warren Averett as State’s Largest Accounting Firm
Warren Averett was once again named Alabama’s largest accounting firm by Business Alabama, an honor the firm has held for over a decade. Warren Averett Recognized as a Best Place to Work in Tampa
Warren Averett’s Tampa office has been recognized as a 2026 Best Place to Work in the Medium Company category by the Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ), ranking at #12. WAAAG Annual Day of Service Brings Teams Together
Warren Averett Animal Advocacy Group (WAAAG) hosted its 2026 Annual Day of Service in May.
WAAAG is an employee-led group dedicated to making an impact in the lives of animals by providing tools, resources and information to increase awareness and involvement in animal rescue throughout the firm’s communities. WAAAG’s annual service day brings team members together to support local animal shelters and rescue organizations across our footprint.
- In Montgomery, team members volunteered at the Montgomery Humane Society, spending the day cleaning cages, walking dogs and caring for animals waiting for adoption.
- In Birmingham, they supported the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, spreading joy to furry friends while giving back to the community.
Across other offices, team members also participated in hands-on service at local organizations, continuing to make an impact for animals in the communities we serve.

In Atlanta, team members brought the energy to Brook Run Park for a FIFA-themed Field Day that tested both brains and brawn, with the Red Team taking home the win.
Our Warren Averett Executive Search and Recruiting Team hosted a virtual event focused on leadership decisions that impact recruiting, sharing real-life examples and insights to help business owners make stronger hiring decisions.
Atlanta team members also celebrated the end of tax season at The Painted Pin, trading spreadsheets for strikes during a night of bowling, laughs and well-deserved time together.

Atlanta’s Local Partner in Charge – Growth, Kim Hartsock, CPA, was recently selected as a Spring 2026 Commencement speaker for her alma mater, Georgia Southern University.
