Jennifer Hardin Recognized as a Financial Leader by the Birmingham Business Journal
Jennifer Hardin, CPA, the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, was recognized as one of seven honorees for the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2025 Financial Leadership Awards.
The awards recognize excellence among financial leaders and other professionals involved in money-making decisions within metro Birmingham.
Honorees were chosen based on their contributions to their companies, the companies’ performance track records and their contributions to their industry and impact on the local community.
Award winners were celebrated with an awards presentation in June at an event held at the Harbert Center. Attendees were given the opportunity to network before dinner.
Jennifer Hardin joined Warren Averett in 2003 in the firm’s Audit Division, providing audit and attest services to mid-size and publicly traded companies. She then spent several years at a national firm where she managed audits for two Fortune 500 companies. She returned to our Birmingham accounting and advisory office in 2012 as the firm’s Controller and then Finance Director.
In her role as CFO, Jennifer manages and oversees the firm’s financial operations, including financial accounting, analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, insurance and risk management, treasury management and accounts payable.
